A Good Girl Comes Undone by Polly Williams
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This is good old fashioned chick lit. It does try to be a little more than that, but ultimately a career/relationship/family crisis is run-of-the-mill for this genre.
It is what it is, and it is some of the better chick lit I have read. Polly Williams knows what fans of this genre want and she gives it to them. I'd read a 'heavier' book just prior to this and it was a pleasant comedown, and a bit of a brain-holiday. And thats not a bad thing.
Pack it into your beach bag, carry it on the bus, or sit down with a cuppa and a biscuit on a lazy Sunday afternoon and you'll be well pleased to have this book in your hands.
