Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Classic chick lit. (Can you call chick lit classic?)
It's a fairly mindless book, but that is the ultimate aim when picking a chick lit title, so in my opinion this one is just perfect.
Basically, a bunch New York girls lives fall to pieces and we read on as they put them back together. I was impressed with the characters - they aren't the usual chick lit type ans there is great diversity amongst them. They are still, however, total cliches.
'Chasing Harry Winston' is nowhere in near the level of Lauren Weisberger previous books, and if you must read one of them I wouldn't pick this one (go for The Devil Wears Prada instead).
